Mothers and their babies are invited to gather across metro Atlanta in honor of World Breastfeeding Week.

The Global Big Latch On is an annual event in which women meet at registered locations to breastfeed and offer peer support in an effort to normalize the practice.

In 2016, nearly 18,000 breastfeeding children across 758 locations in 28 countries participated, according to the website. Women’s Health Action started the Big Latch On in New Zealand in 2005, and it was introduced to America in Portland, Oregon, in 2010.

Here are the 2017 meeting locations in metro Atlanta. Events start at 10 a.m.
