Following a public hearing, the Lilburn City Council approved a change in conditions to a personal care home run by Donald and Charmaine Bristol at 186 Lockring Drive. The Bristols requested a change to their 2006 Special Use Permit, which restricts the number and type of occupants, the number of residents receiving full time care, and ownership.
The Bristols, and their two children, intend to move out of the house but maintain ownership of the property and have a relative move into the home to provide onsite management. The council approved the permit to allow the dwelling to accommodate six personal care residents and one relative of the owners, for a total number of seven occupants.
