Three men fighting over a pair of sunglasses led to a fatal stabbing Thursday, Florida police said.
Daytona Beach police said the 47-year-old victim and Mark Lopes and Patrick Murray were fighting over sunglasses when he was stabbed to death. Police said all three men were drunk when the stabbing occurred.
Mary Lynn Hastings was picking up trash behind her real estate office when found the man’s body, police said.
"I've been here for 20 years, and I have never seen something like this," Hastings said. "It scared me. I was shaken."
Police said the two men were quickly arrested because Murray came back to the crime scene and Lopes was sleeping next to the victim.
The man’s name has not been released.
