Six Fayette County public schools will have new principals for the 2015-16 school year. The Board of Education approved numerous appointments on Monday, including naming Steve Greene as principal of J. C. Booth Middle School and switching Oatha Mann and Jade Bolton in the principal positions at Flat Rock Middle and North Fayette Elementary.

The current principals at Starr’s Mill High, Sandy Creek High, J. C. Booth Middle and Peeples Elementary were chosen for administrative positions within the county; searches are underway for filling those vacancies at Sandy Creek, Starr’s Mill and Peeples.
