College Park police responding to a suspicious persons call found a man driving a truck with a woman’s body inside it.
Officers, at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, went to a location in the 3400 block of Atlanta Street and spotted a marooon pickup truck. A female passenger, 37, was found dead in the passenger’s seat, police said in a press release.
There was no sign of foul play at the scene, police said.
The driver of the truck was taken into custody on unrelated charges.
The case remains under investigation.
