DeKalb County employees will compete against each other on the court to raise money for charity.
The county will host an employee-only basketball tournament March 12 at the Redan Recreation Center to raise money for the March of Dimes’ March for Babies. Residents are invited to watch the tournament from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Children under the age of 4 are free.
Workers will also walk April 30 in the annual march at the Georgia World Congress Center.
In the past nine years, DeKalb employees have raised almost $90,000 for the March for Babies, county spokesman Burke Brennan said.
