At the time of the hack, the site boasted 37 million members. Its slogan is: “Life is short. Have an affair.”
In the Cobb case, the Deactur woman the man met up with was arrested on a robbery charge, according to her warrant.
The man picked up the woman at the Days Inn at 2191 Northwest Parkway about midnight on Valentine’s Day. When he came back to the address after the “date,” he was attacked by the woman and an unknown man, the warrant said.
The male attacker took the victim’s iPhone X and a pair of sunglasses, the warrant said, before the male assailant sped off in a burgundy SUV.
The woman was arrested Feb. 24 and remained in Cobb jail without bond on Monday, according to jail records.

A man told Channel 2 Action News that he was in the fight for his life over the weekend when would-be robbers tried to take his wedding ring and necklace.
Shannon, whom the television station identified only by his first name on air, said he was taking an early evening walk on Barrettt Parkway on Sunday when a car pulled up and asked if he wanted a ride.
He said the men in the car then attacked him while trying to get his wedding ring and cross necklace.
During the struggle, he went to the ground and pulled out the revolver strapped to his left ankle.
He told Channel 2 that he shot one of the men.
“My life or their’s, I’m going to chose my life each and every time,” he said.
The robbers got nothing. He told the television station that he knew what he’d do if it happened again.
“I would empty all six rounds.”
