Construction is in full-swing now on the Sugar Hill Veterans Memorial relocation with the contractor pouring the vertical concrete walls for the water feature pools.
The contractor’s biggest challenge is staging the material and laydown. Space is allocated across West Broad Street in the vacant lot north of the project site. Formwork assembly, rebar placement, and concrete work continues on the site.
In support of the relocation effort, the Sugar Hill Business Alliance will be contributing a portion of the proceeds from their golf tournament Aug. 23 to help fund the project. To participate:
