Sept. 24 is the comment deadline on a possible roundabout at Pope High School.
Cobb County Department of Transportation and the Cobb County School District are proposing safety and operational improvements for Pope High, 3001 Hembree Road, Marietta.
The project, D8180, would replace an existing traffic signal at Hembree Road and Meadow Drive/Pope High with the roundabout and include pedestrian enhancements.
Funding would come from Cobb DOT’s 2005 special purpose local option sales tax and Cobb School District’s SPLOST IV.
