College planning workshop to be held at Sandy Springs Library

The National Center for College Planning is hosting a free college planning workshop Tuesday night at the Sandy Springs Library.

The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at 395 Mount Vernon Highway.

Titled “How to Pay for College Without Going Broke,” the workshop will teach parents and children to increase their eligibility for grant money, how to obtain a “tax scholarship” to pay for tuition and how to avoid the most expensive way to attend college, among other things.
