The Cobb County Board of Commissioners voted in favor of four separate residential zoning matters recently:

  • Ferst Center Inc., David Pearson, Elizabeth Pearson and Gettysburg Business Park is seeking to build 91 single-family houses on 15 acres at six units per acre at the southwest intersection of Shallowford Road and Jamerson Road, north side of Backwoods Court and the eastern end of Hart Drive.
  • John Okooboh wants to build 10 two-story townhomes on two acres at 6837 Shenandoah Trail.
  • JLM Investment Group, the estate of James G. Hindman is seeking to build a 10-lot single-family subdivision on 3.5 acres at 550 Woodlawn Drive, south of Lower Roswell Road.
  • Showcase Real Estate Development, owned by 4012 Steinhauer Road LLC and John Maddox is seeking to build a 26-lot, open-space subdivision of single-family houses on 12 acres at 2.25 units per acre on the east side of Steinhauer Road, north of Pete Shaw Road.
