The deputy director of Cobb County Emergency Management Agency was placed on unpaid leave Friday pending her response to questions into a investigation of staff complaints.

A follow-up meeting is expected some time next week, county spokesman Robert Quigley said Friday.

Lanita Lloyd, who has held the deputy position since 2005, was placed on paid leave Feb. 14.

More information into the investigation is not expected to be released until next week, Quigley said.

Lloyd is the wife of former Cobb public safety director Mickey Lloyd, who resigned last year amid questions about whether he had exaggerated his military record. In 2010, Lloyd earned $68,779, according to county records.
