Clayton County community leaders have begun crafting a strategic plan aimed at boosting future economic development in the county. A meeting of Clayton County's Economic Development Strategic Plan will be Thursday 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Clayton State University, Continuing Education Center, 2000 Clayton State Boulevard in Morrow. The forum is part of an eight-step planning process. Thursday's meeting will be facilitated by economic development specialists from Georgia Tech. Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and the county's development authority are serving as co-chairs of the planning process. Thursday's meeting is free and open to the public.
