A vast array of items from musical instruments to cafeteria appliances to seven International and GMC trucks will be offered for sale in October when the Cherokee County Schools dispose of surplus property at a public auction.
The School Board recently authorized the auction to take place Oct. 7 at the Central Distribution Warehouse, 201 Mountain Brook Court, Canton. Previews begin at 8 a.m., with the sale starting at 9 a.m. To view the auctioneer's website: jeffdobson.com/upauctions/index.html
Among the items to be sold: keyboards, acoustic guitars and xylophones; weight-lifting equipment, cheerleader uniforms and soccer balls; a scroll saw, belt sander and air compressor; milk coolers, refrigerators and pizza ovens; televisions, microscopes and typewriters; desks, chairs and globes; and an 1990 International box truck and six GMC trucks of various vintages.
