The Gwinnett County Planning Commission agreed recently to allow a change in conditions at a truck terminal in the University 316 Industrial Park at the intersection of Herrington Road and Oakland Road in Lawrenceville. The property also has frontage along the south side of GA 316.

The area is currently wooded and undeveloped and was a portion of a larger parcel owned and developed by Con-way Freight as a truck terminal. The applicant, DKT Management, intends to construct a 17,400-square foot commercial building, maintenance shop, with parking and outdoor storage area with gravel and an 8-foot high chain-link fence.

The new occupant would be Dennis Taylor C., a civil construction company, which would also utilize the outdoor storage area for heavy equipment and materials.
