The Austell Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct four public hearings next week — among them one on a subdivision for Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Metro Atlanta, Inc. at 5810 Maxham Road.
Another rezoning request is from C-Sil Inc. at 1953 Royal Industrial Blvd., also seeking a special land use permit to operate a tractor-trailer repair service center. A request will be considered from Clark’s Towing and Transportation Services, Inc. for a special land use permit for a towing service at 1950 Royal Industrial Blvd.
Also, the commission will review the proposed 2016 zoning map.
Hearings will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Austell Threadmill Complex, Suite 175, 5000 Austell-Powder Springs Road.
Then the Austell City Council will conduct public hearings on these four matters at 7 p.m. March 7 at Austell City Hall, 2716 Broad St. Anyone wishing to speak in opposition must sign up one day before the hearings at the Community Affairs Department, Suite 101, at the complex.
