The varsity and junior varsity math teams at Starr's Mill High both placed third in the small-school division and brought home trophies from the 12th annual Rockdale Mathematics Competition, where 118 teams participated at the Rockdale Magnet School for Science and Technology in Conyers. Jay Yao was the overall winner for Starr's Mill, and received a school winner medal. Members of the varsity team are J.C. Talbott, Max Hodek, Yukimi Ueda, Colton Hazelton, Derek Camacho and Sean Nima. Junior varsity team members are Yuri-Grace Ohashi, Carter Rezac, Jocelyn Gao, Kyle Robinson, Elizabeth Marmo, Brady Meyer, and Dalton Walraven.
