Parent to Parent of Georgia, which offers training and information for parents of students with disabilities, has been awarded a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

The grant will give the group $600,000 per year for three years.

P2P has offered parents a peer matching program, individual, direct assistance, training and support programs at no cost to parents. The group serves more than 30,000 families each year.
