Attorneys for former Atlanta Public Schools superintendent Beverly Hall say her condition has worsened, Channel 2 Action News reports.

Hall is scheduled to go on trial on Aug. 11 along with 12 other former educators on charges connected to the Atlanta test-cheating scandal. Hall has Stage IV breast cancer. In April, her lawyers successfully sought to postpone the trial due to her condition.

But now Hall’s legal team has presented sworn statements from her oncologist indicating she would not be able to focus, pay appropriate attention or sit in court, Channel 2 reports. According to the television station, Hall is now bedridden.

A court hearing on Hall’s health is expected to be held later this month.
