It's time to prep for another school year. The 2015-2016 Fulton County school year will begin Monday, Aug. 10.
Here's what you need to know to be prepared:
1. Open house dates: This is a chance for both students and parents to meet teachers, visit classrooms, check their schedules and more.
Dates vary by school, but open houses begin on Aug. 5. See the complete schedule for elementary, middle and high schoolers here.
2. School start/end times: Elementary schools will start at 7:40 a.m. and end at 2:20 p.m. Middle schools will start at 8:55 a.m. and end at 4:05 p.m.. High schools will start at 8:20 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.
Start-up charter schools will start at 7:30 a.m., 7:40 a.m., 7:50 a.m. or 8:30 a.m., depending, with the end times varying accordingly.
