If you're a big fan of Hall & Oates, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, and Michael McDonald, plan on heading to Duluth 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 on the Duluth Town Green to hear sounds of the late '70s and early '80s with Yacht Rock Schooner.
"Residents can expect to dance the night away and have a great time as Yacht Rock Schooner throws a party that spans across generations" said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.
The band is composed of Atlanta musicians with a dual keyboard setup, multiple ace vocalists and a sax man.
The event includes giant games, food and beverage vendors and is designed for the entire family. VIP tables are available for purchase. This is an open zone event, so visitors may bring their own alcoholic beverages or purchase from licensed vendors.
The Summer Stage Concert season will wrap up with The Duluth Fall Festival presenting Rupert's Orchestra in concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Sept. 12.
