Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines canceled 10 flights into and out of San Francisco as a result of the Saturday afternoon crash of Asiana Airlines Flight 214.

More cancellations might be announced later, Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant said.

“Our operations in San Francisco are going to be affected,” Durrant said, adding that the airline was waiting for guidance from the FAA as to whether it would be able to resume flights out of San Francisco Saturday.

“This is obviously a tragedy,” Durrant said.

Durrant said it was “far too early” to decide on grounding any Boeing 777 jets like the one that crashed at San Francisco International Airport.
