DDS promotes free services for veterans, active miliary

As Veteran’s Day approaches, the Department of Driver Services is reminding current and former military personal of the free services they can receive. Veterans and active military personnel are offered free driver’s licenses, free ID cards and free testing for the Troops to Trucks program, among other things. “The DDS customer service initiatives are a well-deserved acknowledgement by our state,” Commissioner Rob Mikell said.
