A couple in Palm Coast appeared at the county courthouse on Wednesday after charged with 77 counts of sex acts with children under the age of 12.
Paul Dykes Jr., 20, and Erin Vickers, 22, each face charges of sexual assault of a minor, and could face up to life in prison if convicted, The Daytona beach News-Journal reports.
In 2015 the couple allegedly uploaded pornographic images and performed sexual acts while live-streaming with children on Skype, News-Journal reports. In two of those cases the victims were infants, according to News-Journal.
After a lengthy child pornography investigation, the pair was arrested and taken to the local county jail where they have been held without bond.
Dykes’ faces additional 35 charges that include possession of child porn and sexual assault on a minor, while Vickers’ faces 20 counts each of transmitting harmful material of a minor, and promoting sexual performance of a child, according to News-Journal.
Prosecutors plan to try Dykes and Vickers separately, who each have their own attorney.
