When you want to eat out, you may not always feel like sitting down and dining in. But you probably don’t want to go to the drive-thru, either.

Oftentimes, a food truck is a happy medium.

The vehicles are stocked with tasty treats and meals perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. Parade magazine recognized this and compiled a list of the nation’s best.

“Food trucks can have some of the best foods if you give them a shot. That’s why we decided to help you find some of the very best food trucks near you. We rounded up 100 food trucks across the country—two from each state,” it said.

Georgia’s best food trucks offer diverse tastes.

The first is Cattywampus Grill. According to its Instagram bio, the truck “preserves the integrity of Southern recipes and adds in hints of flavor or innovative combinations taking your taste buds for a delicious ride.”

Since it debuted in 2016, the truck has traveled all over Georgia. It offers innovative burgers, such as the Southern burger, a beef/chorizo patty covered in cheddar cheese, dill pickles, house-made pimento cheese and barbecue sauce. There are also two mac and cheese dishes, including the Southern mac. It’s a dreamy three-cheese mac topped with pulled pork, barbecue sauce, goat cheese and fresh cilantro.

According to Parade, " it’s impossible to not like their food.”

For a taste of Mexican and Asian cuisine, Yumbii is an ideal food truck.

“If you’ve never had Yumbii, you’re missing out,” Parade said.

Yumbii offers tacos including Asian rib-eye beef, Korean barbecue-style chicken, spicy pulled pork and stir-fried tofu topped with their famous Yumbii chili sauce. Other offerings include rice bowls, salad bowls, burritos, quesadillas and their famous sesame fries with chipotle ketchup. Favorites include Yumbii wings, nachos and the Philly.

Yumbii also has two brick-and-mortar locations in Brookwood Hills and Toco Hills.
