Delta adds bag tracking via mobile phones

Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines said it has added the ability for customers to track their baggage via smartphones.
Delta said it is the first airline to allow travelers to scan their bags with their iPhones and track them.
The ability is part of a new version of the airline's Fly Delta app for iPhones and for Android phones, and in coming weeks Delta plans to add the ability for Windows phones and BlackBerry devices.
