The DeKalb County 911 Communications Department is seeking to fill 30 openings for 911 operators. The county will accept applications Monday through Wednesday. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and must be a U.S. citizen.

Applicants also must pass a computer skills test, which covers keyboarding, data entry and prioritization. A background check and physical is also involved.
