An Arkansas woman is accused of hiding $289 in her mouth after robbing a tobacco store, police said.

Vera Thomas was arrested Friday in Jonesboro.

Police said she gave the store clerk a note demanding money or she would shoot.

They also said Thomas stuffed the money in her mouth and took off.

Officers located her a short time later. She was arrested and charged with robbery.
