Here’s what Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had to say to the Arizona media on Wednesday:
On his takeaways after watching the film: "Came away with a win; that's always good. Kind of eliminated the negative plays. We still had some, but we didn't as many, which I think helped. We ran the ball effectively, and I think that opened up everything else. I think we just executed a lot better."
On Head Coach Kliff Kingsbury's praise for not taking negative plays: "I don't only think that he sees that, or any other quarterback out there that's watching the game that understands what it's like to be back there. I guess that's a good thing in the quarterback room, but I don't really pay too much (attention). I made him happy, so I guess that's a good thing."
On if he'd rather talk about the touchdowns: "I don't really care."
On if he has a favorite play from this season: "No, I'm just glad we won, to be honest."
On the bootleg touchdown: "The bootleg, yes, that was pretty nice. You don't really see those too often. I'm surprised it was that open."
On what RB Chase Edmonds brings to the offense and having Edmonds and RB David Johnson on the field together: "It's a nice switch up. For me personally, I know I can count on him. He wants to be great. He doesn't take it for granted. Anybody you can count on, you know that I could go to war with this guy, you're going to feel good about him when he's on the field."
On if there is a different feeling this week after the win: "You kind of noticed coming back on Monday the building wasn't like it was the past four weeks with everybody kind of feeling a little disappointed, understanding that we've got to win, pushing in the right direction. We cleaned things up. We played better, but at the same time you, can't really dwell on it because we got another game this weekend."
On the game-winning drive against the Bengals: "It's something we practice all the time, so for it to show up during the game in a crucial moment and us execute what we had to do and winning the game, it's something to be proud of."
On the ways in which he sees Edmond's desire to be great: "When he's on the field and off the field, just seeing the work he puts in day-in and day-out. The things that you all don't see, or anybody else, we all see it. I know what he's capable of."
On what he sees from Edmonds that other people do not: "Just who he is as a person, the things we talk about."
On if him and Kingsbury are getting onto the same page with play calling: "I think so, yes."
On the process of getting onto the same page as his head coach: "I've said it a lot. Day 1, we weren't just going to come in, and he's not going to know what I like, and I'm not going to know what he likes. The more that the season goes on, and the more we spend time with each other, that trust and that bond will continue to grow."
On if he notices jet motions and zone reads affecting defenses: "I think so. I've actually seen it a lot more around the league, guys doing the motions and all that stuff. Defenses are so good, you just have to find a way to make them think for a second. With the guys that we have on offense, I think it helps us out because we have a lot of speed."
On how running 11 and 12 personnel helps the offense run the ball: "It was a switch up. We haven't really been in a lot of that so far, so it definitely was a good switch up for them. They weren't really prepared for it. We just executed what was called."
On if he's excited to see what WR Andy Isabella can bring to the passing game: "I'm really interested. He's got a lot of juice. He's a great player. He's shown it in college. Once he gets comfortable on this level, the sky's the limit."
On if it will take time for Isabella to settle in because he has been moved around the offense: "It's a tough situation for him not getting as many reps. Being cold and then being in there for a couple of plays, you don't really get to get in the rhythm of it. I'm not out on him or anything. I don't think anybody else around here is. We have confidence in him, and once he continues to get more reps, he'll be fine."
On where he has grown the most: "Each week, I feel like I've played better and better. I don't know. We got a win this week, so it was good. I did my job, right?"
On if he has any bets with LB Jordan Hicks on the Oklahoma-Texas game: "Not yet. I think we're going to come up with it today."
