Falcons defensive tackle Tyson Jackson, who called for unnecessary roughness for a hit on Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers, was fined by the league office on Thursday.

On second down-and-2 from the Atlanta 7, Rodgers was scrambling around the Packers left end when he was hit by safety Dwight Lowery at the 2-yard line and fumbled.

Jackson came over late and piled on Rodgers. He plans to appeal the fine.
