Going to the Braves season opener Thursday? If you are, plan on arriving early and enjoying a day full of festivities.

Here’s some of what’s scheduled for SunTrust Park on Thursday, but here are two important times to remember - first pitch scheduled for 4:10 p.m. (afternoon start instead of evening) and the gates will open at 2 p.m.

Braves Walk at noon: Players and coaches will parade down Battery Walk and into the park prior to their first batting practice of the season.

Leadoff show, 1:50 p.m.: Atlanta Braves Heavy Hitters, ATL Breakers and Tomahawk Team perform at the fountain stage outside the Terrapin Taproom.

Chop rally, 3:20 p.m.: Braves alumni and entertainment teams lead fans in pep rally before the game (the first 40,000 fans will receive a 'Chop On' tomahawk).

Pregame ceremony: On-field recognition of Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, first pitch from Hall of Famer Chipper Jones, national anthem performed by Clay Cook and 'Play Ball' from former UGA running back Nick Chubb.
