Online shopping is pretty popular among patrons. But taking a trip to the store isn’t a thing of the past.
In fact, there’s one Georgians can’t get enough of.
It’s Target, according to a FourSquare study.
The location intelligence company rounded up the most popular shopping chains in America, highlighting the most beloved one for each state.
To determine the rankings, researchers examined the average number of visits per store in each U.S. state, and for The Peach State, Target came out on top.
With more than 50 locations and three distribution centers throughout the area, Target beat out other favorites including Walmart and Macy’s.
It also trumped overall. Target was the most popular store for nearly half of the 50 states. Walmart was close behind with 16 states voting the big box store as the favorite.
A few smaller chains, such as Uniqlo and Fred Meyer, made the cut, too. While Fred Meyer was prominent in some northwestern states, Uniqlo was the go-to for places like Illinois and Florida.
