Gwinnett's Inifinite Energy Center is upping its security efforts.

The venue -- formerly known as the Arena at Gwinnett Center -- announced Monday it has installed "permanent walk-through metal detectors" that will be up and running for tonight's Mumford & Sons concert. Arena security previously consisted of magnetic wand screenings, "visual screenings" and bag checks, officials said.

"Safety is our top priority," general manager Joseph Dennis said in a news release. "By enhancing our security policies, we can ensure that each guest will have a safe and enjoyable experience at Infinite Energy Center."

In anticipation of the increased security measures, officials urged eventgoers to arrive early, limit the number of personal items brought into the venue and have their ticket in-hand. Visit the arena's website for more information.
