Want to be a police officer? What about a 911 operator? Thanks to one Gwinnett County city, you may be in luck.

Lawrenceville is looking to fill eight city jobs. In addition to openings in the police and 911 communications departments, there are two in the gas department and one each in the damage prevention and streets and sanitation departments. They’re also searching for a public works department director and a temporary customer service teller.

Interested applicants can pick up and return applications at the human resources office on the main floor of Lawrenceville City Hall between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some applications can also be found at the city website.
