There are a lot great perks to a snow day. City-wide school closingsYummy hot chocolate. Singalongs by the fireplace.

And don't forget the outside activities, too, like sledding. But what if you don't have a sled, and realistically, how many people in Atlanta keep a sled when it only snows every other year?

But a lack of a proper sled didn’t stop these people, though perhaps it should have:

Car hood

Cardboard box

Laundry basket

Mattress

Storage bin lid

Trash can lid
