USA Today's annual coaches compensation compilation just came out and Clemson's Dabo Swinney is sitting pretty.

This season, Swinney is earning $8,526,800 in total pay, which places him second in the nation, only behind Alabama’s Nick Saban, who is making $11,132,000 in total pay.

Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher checks in at No. 6 in total pay ($5,700,000) as the only other ACC coach in the top 20.

Swinney has a max bonus of $1,000,000 and was paid the highest bonus ($1,525,000) in 2016-17.

Swinney also tops the list for the largest school buyout (as of Dec. 1, 2017) at $40,000,000, with Fisher finishing second at $39,312,500.

Swinney signed an eight-year/$54 million contract prior to this season.

Swinney has captured a national championship (2016), three ACC championships (2011, 2015, 2016) and five divisional titles (2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016) in his time at Clemson.

Clemson returns from their bye week to host Georgia Tech on Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. (EST).
