After months of cleaning and inspections, the first trucks are carrying ice cream out of a Blue Bell plant.

The company issued a voluntary recall in April after a listeria outbreak sickened people and was linked to three deaths.
Last week, the Alabama Health Department gave permission for the Alabama plant to re-open.
No word yet when the ice cream could hit store shelves, but Blue Bell's social media account promises to keep everyone posted.
