As The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported last week, some metro Atlanta transit agencies are making tentative plans to begin restoring service cut during the coronavirus pandemic.

One of them is the state's Xpress bus service. Beginning June 1, the service plans to restore about 5 percent of its service. You can view the updated schedule at the agency's web site. Want more details or have questions? The agency will hold an online public chat with Chief Transit Officer Gail Franklin at noon Wednesday.

Franklin will discuss the state of Xpress during the pandemic, the plans to begin restoring service, social distancing on buses and other safety measures.
