Atlanta fast food, child care and home health care workers who make less than $15 an hour will rally Tuesday afternoon outside City Hall to demand higher wages.
Some Atlanta fast-food workers will walk off their jobs earlier in the day to protest low wages and push for union representation. The twin protests come one year before the 2016 elections and will match dozens of other rallies around the country.
Striking fast food workers will leave their jobs along Old National Highway at 6 a.m. The City Hall rally is scheduled for 5 p.m.
