With all of the different types of coupons, knowing the difference between a manufacturer versus a store coupon is important, but sometimes it isn’t so easy to know what you’re working with. Listed below are two ways to determine exactly what is a store coupon, as well as sources where find them.
First, it is good to know what store coupons are not. If you think the store can send it to the manufacturer for reimbursement, think again. These coupons are meant to be used only at the store that makes them available unless another store is allowing the store coupon to be used at another location as a competitor.
One of the best things about some store coupons like Target and Publix is the ability to stack them with a manufacturer coupon. For example, if you have a save $1/1 Oscar Mayer manufacturer coupon and a save $1/1 store coupon, you can use both of them together and get $2 off the Oscar Mayer product instead of $1. Awesome right? As an extreme couponer, we look for these types of deals all the time.
You can search for store coupons in the Publix Green Advantage, Purple Health & Beauty Flyer, Target website, Kroger mailers, Whole Foods (in store/online), Sprouts (in store/online), Dollar General store sales flyer and app, Family Dollar store sales flyer and app, CVS online and Coupon Center Print, Bed Bath & Beyond mailer and many other sources. Be sure to look for them or inquire in the store to keep saving money.
