How to carve a Trumpkin with AJC editorial cartoonist Mike Luckovich.

Step 1:

Carve the top out of the pumpkin.

If you’re a Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist you *may* be able to get someone to do this dirty work for you.

Step 2:

Scape the insides and seeds out.

Step 3:

Separate the seeds from the stringy insides.

Step 4:

Draw your outline.

Step 5:

Carve along your outline.

Step 6:

Top with hair (stringy pumpkin insides).
