A lot of people are talking about Panthers quarterback Cam Newton tearing a Packers banner down before Sunday's game.
But a different gesture is also making headlines.
Newton gave a football to a child in the front row, as he normally does, after scoring a touchdown in the second quarter in the Panthers 37-29 victory over Green Bay.
But what the quarterback didn't know was that 6-year-old Colin Toler's father died just weeks ago from a medical condition.
A family friend gave Toler tickets to the game, since he never got to go to one with his dad.
Toler traveled from Danville, Virginia with both of his grandfathers to watch the Panthers take on the Packers, and said he couldn't believe it when he saw Newton running toward him with the ball.
"I was like, ‘Oh gosh, oh gosh,’" Toler said. "Am I going to be on the big screen, or am I going to be on TV? I was jumping up and down like yeah!"
His family said other fans also helped make his day special by high-fiving him and taking his picture with the ball.
