Worried about your teen's safety on the road?
Chevrolet knows your fears and is working to calm them with a software it calls Teen Driver, according to NBC News.
The software tracks how far the driver has gone, their average speed and other stats that can tell parents how safe their teen is driving.
(But it can't say if they're texting while driving. But that might be the least of the distracted-driving worries.)
One notable twist: If the front seatbelts aren't buckled, the radio gets muted.
However, this software will only show up in the 2016 Chevy Malibu, at least for now.
