Fulton police are hoping they can help some folks catch a case for the cases they copped over the weekend.

Some time over the weekend, thieves got away with more than 400 cases of booze from a liquor distributor warehouse off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in south Fulton County, Channel 2 Action News reports.

Thieves used drills and saws to cut through brick and concrete sometime Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

“It would appear that they were in there for quite some time,” Fulton County police Detective Melissa Parker told Channel 2’s Amy Napier Viteri.

Parker said the spot where thieves got in is on the back side of the building – not visible from the main road. The total amount stolen is over $200,000.

“It would have taken a large vehicle and multiple suspects to move that amount,” Parker said.

Police said surveillance cameras from inside the building show at least three people, possibly more. Some of them made an effort to hide their identity.

“Some of them did wear masks or hoods. However, there is surveillance video footage, so we are going over that footage,” Parker told the television station.

“We’re hoping that anytime someone sees an individual selling alcohol on the corner not a legitimate business that they would call the police,” she said.
