Q: Where is Brandon Rudat on “Better Mornings” on CBS Atlanta? I have not seen him for about two weeks. He is on vacation?

—Donna Wilson, Grayson

A: Rudat, who was the co-host of "Better Mornings," was relieved of his duties on July 18, the AJC reported. CBS Atlanta general manager Trey Fabacher told the AJC that the station was going in a different direction. Rudat posted this on Facebook: "I just want to say thank you for all the love and support today. I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful people. My faith has never been stronger. It's a new journey and tomorrow is a new day. Much love to those who faithfully tuned in." Rudat also is a motivational speaker and an artist.

Q: There was a case about a year and a half to two years ago concerning Joseph Butler. He was arrested for having child porn on his government computer. I have not seen anything on the case. What was the outcome?

—Richard Criswell, Loganville

A: Butler, a Department of Education employee who lived in Clarkston, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and five years of supervised release on March 20, 2012. Butler downloaded child porn from the Internet onto his work computer, which he used to burn CDs, according to the FBI. A search of Butler's home found CDs of child porn, boxes of children's clothes and toys, and sexually graphic stories about children that he had written. Butler, who was 66 when he was sentenced, also will have to register as a sex offender when released.
