The watercraft was found Saturday near the island of Guadeloupe by a French navy ship, CNN reported.

It was recovered about 250 miles from Barbados.

Officials stopped their search for Suarez and Devil, which had spanned 600 nautical miles, on July 2, USA Today reported.

The owners of the Jet Ski became worried about the New Jersey couple about 30 minutes after they had rented the watercraft and alerted the Royal Barbados Police Force, ABC News reported.

Officials at Discovery Bay Hotel in St. James, where the couple was staying, said Suarez and Devil never returned, according to ABC News.
