A man was critically injured Sunday in a downtown Atlanta shooting, one of three shootings police investigated across the city that night.

No update on his condition was available, Atlanta police said Monday. Officers found him wounded around 8 p.m. near the corner of Forsyth and Williams streets.

After the man was taken to a hospital, officers canvassed the area for suspects and possible witnesses to the shooting. No suspects have been identified, a police spokesman told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Earlier Sunday evening, around 5:45 p.m., police were called to Grady Memorial Hospital after another gunshot victim arrived for treatment. He told officers he was injured in the 800 block of Lee Street in southwest Atlanta. The circumstances of that shooting were not released.

Shortly before 9 p.m., another shooting was reported in Midtown. Officers located that victim near the original J.R. Crickets restaurant on North Avenue. He was alert when he was taken to a hospital, according to police.

No arrests have been made in any of the three shootings. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
