Norcross wants to make your Valentine’s Day a “night to remember.”

The city is holding a celebration of the holiday in its historic downtown. The event, lasting from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, will feature fun and romantic activities like carriage rides and a photo booth.

A traveling barbershop quartet will stroll South Peachtree Street, serenading canoodling couples. Free vow renewals will be conducted throughout the event as well. No word yet where the vow renewals will take place or how to sign up, but we'll update here as soon as the information is available.

Restaurants will also offer “romance specials,” according to a city release. The celebration will be centered on South Peachtree Street.

“The city of Norcross is well known for its charm and bistro-lined streets, which provides the perfect backdrop for a Valentine celebration,” said Norcross Mayor Bucky Johnson in the release. “We look forward to sharing the heart and soul of Norcross as well showcasing our close-knit community.”

The carriage pick-up location will be at the Taste of Britain restaurant at 73 S. Peachtree St.
