Remember back in kindergarten there was that kid afraid to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom and then, next thing you know, the janitor is in the room throwing sawdust on a puddle on the floor?
Well, that's kind of the scene in DeKalb County Chief Judge Courtney Johnson's courtroom, as she seemingly was either missing a lawyer's pleas to go to the john, or was actively ignoring them.
The end result was the same as back when you were 5, although this time with a very embarrassed attorney and a normally hard-nosed judge doing some back-peddling.
Now the judicial watchdog agency is investigating the judge’s bench-side manner. And there’s a feeling this might be a particularly nasty case of “Robe-itis.”
