Prepare yourself for the Facebook likes.

Because if you head to the Cobb County Touch-A-Truck event and get a sweet shot of your kid hanging out in a police helicopter or TV truck, you’ll certainly be due some online love.

From 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Town Center Mall, in the lower parking lot by Sears, families can explore the following emergency vehicles:

  • Police cars
  • SWAT trucks
  • Fire engines
  • Construction vehicles
  • Dump trucks
  • Front-end loaders
  • TV trucks
  • Military vehicles
  • Police helicopter

The cost is $5 per person with a maximum of $20 per family, according to the event flier. All proceeds benefit the Cobb County Safety Village, an 8-acre site of life-like buildings and city streets used for safety training.
